Having recently organised one of my best friends' hen party with my other friends - I realised how expensive and difficult it is to try and get something personalised and a bit different to give the day a special sort of magic.
My friends and I decided that we didn't want sashes as quite a lot of hen parties have them these days, plus we weren't sure if the venue we were going to would allow them - do them come under the 'no hen do attire' category? Probably.
I had found some generic hen party rosettes online and thought they would be a good alternative, however we couldn't find the right colour and wording combination we wanted. Plus there was 30 of us on the hen do and it was getting quite expensive!
In the end I found some blank rosettes and customised them myself. I made the bride's one slightly different and also added titles for the bridesmaids and mother of the bride/groom.
They worked out really well and everyone really liked them!
We had also seen some fun tattoos which we wanted to include in our goodie bags for the rest of the party. I imagined these wouldn't be too hard to make myself either and in the interests of saving money decided to give it a go. It turned out to be VERY easy and they were a really fun thing to have!
Because of how sucessful both of these things were, I've decided to add rosettes and tattoos to my orders, so if you're a bridesmaid or a maid of honour then have a look here and get in touch!
